He served as Department Manager of Contract Management, handling large-scale EPCI contracts for global energy clients, showcasing his ability to manage complex infrastructure projects.

Accenture
Here, Skaaren was responsible for managing contractual issues in the Energy and Finance consulting groups, engaging with top-tier clients like DNB and Equinor, and playing a crucial role in risk handling and strategic planning.

With a distinguished career spanning over three decades in finance, strategic management, and corporate governance, our Chair of Growth is a veritable powerhouse in the Norwegian business landscape.

Holding an MSC in Business Administration and Economics from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and further studies in Strategic Management and Innovation at INSEAD in Paris, her academic credentials are as robust as her practical experience.

Her journey began with a seven-year tenure at Deloitte, where she honed her skills in management consulting, audit, and finance, including international exposure in the UK.
This early experience set the foundation for her to ascend through various finance and leadership roles at Hakon Gruppen AS, now known as ICA, and Kavli Holding AS, where she managed financial operations, IT integration, and strategic acquisitions, demonstrating a keen eye for growth and innovation.

Her 18-year career at Grieg Group marks a significant chapter, where she served in multiple executive capacities, including Group Chief Operating Officer (COO), Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

During her time as CEO, she was instrumental in steering the company's growth strategy, overseeing corporate governance, operations, and investments across diverse sectors like seafood, shipping, logistics, and private equity.

Her leadership at Grieg Maturitas AS, the holding company responsible for the group's portfolio management, saw her spearhead IT, technology, and cybersecurity initiatives, as well as environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategies, reflecting her commitment to sustainable and responsible business practices.
